Change to The Licensing Act 2003 due to take effect next Thursday

The Minister for Sport and Tourism, the Rt Hon Hugh Robertson MP, announced today, 18 June 2013, that he expects the change in entertainment licensing will come into effect on Thursday 27th June 2013.� On this date the need for an entertainment license, between 8am and 11pm, for performances of plays and exhibitions of dance (up to audience limits of 500 people) will be removed.
