The Guthrie Thrust Stage: A Living Legacy (2011)
This is both the catalogue for the Great Britain entry and a stand alone publication which celebrates the contribution of Tyrone Guthrie to theatre architecture world wide. The story covers the period from 1948, when he created the first thrust stage in the Assembly Hall Edinburgh for his production of The Thee Estates, to 2011, when the Royal Shakespeare opened its new main theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon.
