To be eligible for Full Membership, applicants need to provide evidence of some industry experience. Membership is granted at the discretion of the ABTT Council they will specifically be looking for individuals who can bring knowledge and experience to the Association to further its aims. For the organisation to be strong and effective it is looking for those people who are technicians in theatre, architects, suppliers, theatre consultants and anyone else who works professionally and makes theatre and entertainment happen in the United Kingdom. Applications are invited from our colleagues across the globe who can help us benefit from an international dialogue. It is unlikely that the Council would grant Full Membership to those applicants who do not and have no experience of working in the professional theatre. To apply for Full Membership, applicants need to provide a current CV and the names and contact details of two referees to the ABTT office whom shall then process the application and present it to Council. You shall then be notified as to whether you have been successful or not.
